I am adding this not b/c the topic draws me, but b/c I have read the author's book Bel Canto and thought the writing was excellent. I did read another one too about her ill friend, the title of which escapes me. Kirkus says this new one is as good as Bel Canto. Is it really? YAY for new books on Kindle!
